Solar LCD Charge and Discharge Controller with 3-Stage PWM Charging, Industrial-Grade Chip, Dual MOS Anti-Backflow Circuit, Over-Current Short-Circuit Protection, 10A 20A 30A 50A 60A Options, for 12V 24V Lead-Acid Batteries Only
Solar LCD Charge and Discharge Controller with 3-Stage PWM and Self-Healing Protections

This solar LCD charge and discharge controller simplifies off-grid battery management by automatically detecting and adapting to 12V or 24V lead-acid battery systems. Its large LCD screen gives you clear, adjustable control over charging and discharging parameters, helping you keep your battery within its safe voltage range. Built with an industrial-grade master chip and robust PWM charging management, it protects your battery from overcharging, deep discharge, and short circuits. The controller includes over-current, short-circuit, open-circuit, and reverse connection protection, all self-healing so the device remains undamaged after a fault. Available in five current ratings from 10A to 60A, it is designed specifically for photovoltaic solar panels and lead-acid batteries.
Features and Construction

The controller uses proven industrial electronics and a smart charging algorithm to manage power flow efficiently. Its dual MOS anti-backflow circuit reduces heat generation and prevents battery discharge at night.
Industrial-Grade Master Chip
The controller is built around an industrial-grade master chip that ensures stable operation under varying solar and load conditions. This chip manages the PWM charging stages and monitors system parameters continuously.
Large-Screen LCD Display
The LCD screen shows real-time battery voltage, charging current, and system status. You can adjust the charge and discharge parameters directly via buttons on the controller, giving you manual control when needed.
Complete 3-Stage PWM Charging
The controller uses a three-stage PWM charging algorithm: bulk, absorption, and float. This cycles the battery through fast charging to high voltage, then holds it at a safe level, and finally maintains a trickle charge to prevent overcharging and sulfation.
Protection and Safety

The controller includes multiple self-healing protection circuits that guard against common installation and operating errors. These protections automatically reset once the fault clears, so no replacement or manual reset is required.
Over-Current and Short-Circuit Protection
If the load draws too much current or a short circuit occurs, the controller instantly cuts power to protect both the battery and connected devices. Once the fault is removed, normal operation resumes automatically.
Open-Circuit and Reverse Connection Protection
The controller can handle open-circuit conditions on the solar panel side without damage. If the battery or solar panel is connected with reversed polarity, the controller protects itself and the connected components.
Dual MOS Anti-Backflow Circuit
Two MOS transistors in series prevent current from flowing back from the battery to the solar panel at night. This ultra-low-heat design increases reliability and reduces energy loss.
Installation and Usage

Proper installation is key to reliable operation. The controller must be placed close to the battery and on a ventilated surface to avoid voltage drop and overheating.
Battery and Panel Requirements
The controller works with 12V or 24V lead-acid batteries only, including open, sealed, and gel types. It must be powered exclusively by photovoltaic panels; do not connect DC power supplies or other sources.
Mounting and Wiring
Mount the controller on a flat, well-ventilated surface. Keep wiring as short as possible between controller and battery to minimise voltage drop. Ensure the battery has sufficient voltage at first installation for the controller to detect the correct system voltage.
Available Current Ratings
The controller is available in 10A, 20A, 30A, 50A, and 60A versions. Choose the rating that matches your solar array output and battery bank size to ensure safe operation.
